Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked by our representative and later start your 2 Days birding safari in Entebbe. Your first stop over will be at Uganda Wildlife Education Centre which is a home to orphaned & captive animals. Interestingly, it has got over 170 species of birds including the 7 species of weavers. These include; the rare Northern masked weaver, orange weaver, brown caped weaver, fox's weaver, lesser masked, etc. Thereafter, you will have lunch and then proceed  to Entebbe Botanical  Gardens with over 150 bird species. Here, look out for different bird species like; the Great Blue and Ross’s Turacos, Red Chested. Klaas’s and Diederik Cuckoo, Great Reed Warbler, Malachite kingfisher, Woodland and Pygmy Kingfishers, Black Bishop. Grey Woodpecker, Red chested sunbirds, Superb starlings, Northern flycatcher, Long-toed lapwing, etc. Later in the evening return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Mabamba swamp, boarding off from Nakiwogo Landing Site. Note that, as you sail you will come across different birds species along the banks of the lake. These include the papyrus Gonolek, White Shouldered Tit, Western Banded snake Eagle, White Winged Warbler, White Spotted Fluf tail, etc. Actually, this Swamp is one of the best places to spot the exceptional Shoebill stork however, many other species can be found here.

These include; the Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, Grey herons, Jacanas, Ruffaus bellied Heron. Squaco, Purple and Goliath Heron, Pallid Harrier and Blue Swallow a migrant specie, egrets, ducks, etc. However, the best way to enjoy the rich bird life is by a canoe whereby you might even have the luck to encounter the elusive sitatunga Antelope. Afterwards, head back to the dock where your vehicle will be waiting for you to be dropped to your Hotel/Lodge or catch up with your flight.
