3 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari

This 3 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari : takes you to one of Uganda’s most accessible and charming parks. Additionally, it has a glittering lake, undulating, sweeping views and unique cultural context. However, during this safari, you have an opportunity  to spot the different birds & animal species. These include; zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, Elands not to mention but a few.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo-Drum makers-Equator experience

Depart Kampala for your road trip to Lake Mburo National Park. Firstly, you will have a stopover at the Drum making Village to meet and interact with the drum makers. Secondly, at the Uganda Equator line for the equator experiments, photography and refreshment break. Then later, continue with your journey to Lake Mburo National Park via the Nshara gate.  Upon arrival, head straight and check in your lodge. Lunch shall be served at the lodge however, in the afternoon, you may decide to drive down to the lake for an hour of great sightseeing. These include water animals like the hippos, crocodiles, etc and lots of different bird species. Dinner at the lodge & overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise

After your morning breakfast, you will head for a game drive through the park tracks.  While here, you will view different animal species heading to their feeding grounds. Later, you will head back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for a boat cruise. While at the boat, you will have a chance to sight stunning wildlife and birdlife both in the lake and at the water banks. You will then go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Hike Biharwe eclipse monument-Igongo cultural center-Transfer back to Kampala

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on your journey to hike the Biharwe Eclipse monument. As a matter of fact, this place has some interesting history of the most powerful kingdoms in the Ankole region. Later you will head to Igongo cultural center, a museum that showcases the Ankole cultural & heritage attractions. Lunch shall be in Mbarara town and later continue to Kampala. Finally, you will be driven direct to your residence/lodge or depart to Entebbe Airport depending on the departure flight scheduled.

Our standard mode of transport is by road and we use 4×4 Safari vehicles. Additionally, each Safari vehicle comes with a professionally trained driver/guide with fuel for the whole safari. We also have very comfortable super customs which can carry up 6 people with their luggage. We also have small vehicles like Alphads, Harrier and much more that can carry 4-5 people.
