This 10 Days Best Uganda–Kenya safari: will take you to Uganda and Kenya for a wildlife tour that will include Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park and Gorilla trekking in Uganda. You will also visit Kenya into Nakuru National Park famous for its huge flocks of flamingos that enjoy the alkaline waters of this shallow soda lake. Other than a million flamingos and many more species of birds, Nakuru National park is also home to white rhino, warthog, giraffe, hippo, ostrich, and lion. Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will receive and welcome you to Uganda the Pearl of Africa. Thereafter, transfer to the booked hotel in Entebbe/Kampala for your accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up your assigned driver and head to Fort Portal where you will stop for lunch. Catch a glimpse of the Toro Kingdom palace, then continue to Kibale, just a few kilometers ahead. As a matter of fact, Kibale Forest National Park has the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Actually, it contains both montane and lowland forests with 13 primate species. These include; chimps, blue monkeys black and white Colobus, De braza monkey, baboons, etc. Upon arrival, check in your lodge to freshen up then in the afternoon go for a primate walk to Kanyanchu river camp. In fact, this is the most popular walk in the park and highlights a miscellany of flora and fauna within the forest. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast, head to the headquarters where you will be briefed and later hit the forest in search of chimpanzees. During the trekking, you will also come also other primates like; red Colobus, red tailed, grey checked mangabey, among others. The forest is also rich in a variety of fauna and flora and this makes your visit worthwhile. Upon locating a chimpanzee family, you will be given 1 hour their presence as you enjoy their daily activities. Later, head back to your lodge for lunch and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will encounter some wildlife including; Elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda kobs, among others. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kigezi hills and terraces and arrival will be late evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have breakfast and then head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts during the trekking. Thereafter, hit the forest in guidance of an armed ranger in search for the gorillas. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access. However, the time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence enjoying their daily activities. The experience of coming face to face with these peaceful giants is very overwhelming. Therefore, don’t forget to take some photos and videos for remembrance back home. Afterwards, head back to your lodge, freshen up, have lunch and in the after you can decide to visit the Batwa community. These people will basically take you through their forest practices, folk tales, dances and songs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe - Flight to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast and later transfer to Kampala/Entebbe with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Afterwards, proceed with your journey with another stopover at the Equator for a photo moment and for refreshments. Continue to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be picked by our safari driver/guide who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park-Afternoon game drive
After your morning breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park and along the way, you will enjoy short photographic stopovers. Proceed to Lake Nakuru past Naivasha, Gilgil and Elmenteita areas arriving late afternoon. Later, in the afternoon you will enjoy game drives in the park and along the shores of the Alkaline Lake. While here, look out for endangered white Rhinos and Rothschild’s Giraffes, popular pink necked lesser Flamingos may be spotted here seasonally. Other wildlife found here include; zebras, spotted hyenas, lions, buffaloes, elands, water bucks and several bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Having an early breakfast, depart for the famous Masai Mara National Reserve arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Masai Mara reserve is situated in the Rift Valley with Tanzania’s Serengeti Plains running along its southern end. The park showcases big families of elephants, buffaloes, lions, and hippos among many more. The areas bordering the Mara River are forested and are home to over several hundred bird species. The Masai tribesmen also offer cultural tours which really add to the experience.

Day 8: Full day game drive in Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will go for a full day game drive i.e morning and afternoon within Masai Mara reserve. Morning hours is the time when most animals are more active before it’s too hot. You may choose to carry you lunch after breakfast for a full day drive in the park whereby lunch can be enjoyed on the banks of the Mara River. During the game drives, you will come across the big 5, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, etc,and several bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. Later in the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Hot Air Balloon
After a delicious breakfast, you will go for a Hot Air Balloon Flight where you will enjoy both the diverse landscape and wildlife from an aerial view of the Masai Mara reserve. This balloon flight activity generally offers one an opportunity to experience the vast reserve both from the land and on air. The activity begins very early in the morning and concludes with a champagne breakfast as well as issuance of a participation certificate by your pilot. You will later return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Lodge.

Day 10: Departure Nairobi
After your morning breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and enjoy en route game drive as you exit the reserve back to Nairobi which is approx. 6hours drive. You will have lunch in Nairobi city and later proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening flight.
End of the safari
