Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, our bird guide will pick you up from your hotel/lodge and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have your first stop over at the equator for photography and stretching up will be worthy while on this birding route in Uganda. We will later have lunch and thereafter proceed as we continue with our birding safari. Dinner and check-in at the lodge.

Day 2: Birding in Lake Mburo National Park
You will have a morning birding on foot along the park trails with an armed ranger then later head back to your lodge for breakfast. Later, you will proceed for a game and birding drive which gives you higher chances of viewing mammals like Zebras, Impalas, Elands, Topis, Buffaloes among others, as you also search out for different bird species like the Red Faced Barbet, Coqui Francolin, Brown Chested Lapwing, Tabora Cisticola, Lesser Blue Eared Starling, Buff Bellied Warbler, Red Headed Weaver, Sulphur Breasted Bush-shrike, Green Capped Eremomela, Bare Faced Go-away-bird, Red Billed Wood Hoope and more acacia associated birds. After lunch in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride in search for the African Finfoot, Crowned Night Herons, Giant Kingfishers etc. Thereafter you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe
Early in the morning after breakfast, your birding on this day will depend on the flight time. On this day, you will look out mostly for species that were missed out the previous day and later start on your journey back to Kampala or to catch up with your flight.
