This 8 Days Uganda Gorillas & Wildlife Safari : takes you for wildlife experience in savanna parks as well as forest parks. The safari will begin with Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. This park is also renowned for its scenic beauty and the spectacular falls from which it derives its name. Here, you will enjoy memorable game drives, a boat cruise and viewing of the mesmerizing scenery in this national park. The safari will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will see abundant bio-diversity of wildlife. While here, you will enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel with awesome opportunities to spot water birds and aquatic animals. The climax of the safari will be an encounter with the elusive Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will as well interact with the former forest dwellers, "the Batwa", whereby you will be entertained through songs and dances.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your booked accommodation. Depending on your time of arrival, you can choose to tour around Entebbe city or just relax at the lodge. You will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park - Ziwa rhino sanctuary - Top of the falls
After an early breakfast, you will set off to the tranquil Murchison Falls National Park. Have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you are able to view rhinos in their habitat. While here, you will do your on-foot rhino tracking activity, however, locating them depends on their movements. Later, embark on your journey, have lunch in Masindi then continue to Murchison Falls National Park where you will be driven direct to the top of the falls. Here, enjoy the Murchison falls experience as the water plunges down the devil’s caldron into the Victoria Nile. Later you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning game drive - Afternoon boat cruise
You will have an early morning breakfast and with your packed lunch, proceed for a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. This basically gives you a great chance of spotting different animals. These include; as giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeests, warthogs, oribis, water bucks, hyenas, etc. After enjoying your packed lunch, you will head for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of the tranquil Murchison Falls. While here, look out for the Nile crocodiles, hippos, and other animals like the water bucks, buffaloes as they quench their thirst at the banks of the river. Afterwards, return to your beautiful lodge, and enjoy the good night`s rest.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy an early morning breakfast then check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. You will have lunch on the way then proceed to the park, arriving late evening. Check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee tracking - Evening game drive
In the morning after an early breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge sector. Here, you will be allowed to have a fascinating encounter with the chimpanzees in guidance of the game ranger. Upon locating them, you are given 1hr their presence as you enjoy them do their day-to-day activities. Later, return to the lodge for an early lunch and then head out for an evening game. In fact, this drive will be done in Ishasha sector where you will encounter the tree climbing lions. Other game to spot include; elephants, gazelles, water bucks, buffaloes, hippos, among others. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Morning boat cruise - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early morning breakfast, proceed directly for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Actually, this is home to one of the largest concentrations of hippopotamus, as well as herds of elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. In fact, the Kazinga also attracts a tremendous variety of bird species including the African eagle, Open-billed stork, Pied kingfishers, etc. Afterwards, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and upon arrival, check in direct to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking - Batwa cultural encounter
Having an early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking activity. Later, hit the forest in search of the gorillas depending on their movements as they look for food. Upon locating one of the gorilla families, you will be given 1hr in their presence as you enjoy their daily activities. Afterwards, head back to the park headquarter where you will be awarded with a gorilla trekking certificate. Head back to the lodge for lunch and later in the evening, go for the cultural encounter with the batwa. Listening to their stories, fork songs and dances, will leave you with the best memories. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and start your journey back to Entebbe/Kampala. You will be dropped to your lodge or direct to the Airport to catch up with your flight.

Requirements for the Safari
- A Visa – you can apply for the visa online or very easily get one at the point of entry into the country (airport)
- Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking permits and you can apply and secure these on line. However, experience has shown that it is better coordinated when you send money to a registered tour firm to handle it for you at no extra cost.
- Travel & Health insurance – This should be arranged by you in your home country before you travel.
