3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park

This 3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park : takes you to one of the parks located in western Uganda.  Furthermore, it is one of the most visited with different activities and attractions to enjoy. These include; game drives, boat cruisesChimpanzee tracking in Kyambura, nature walks not to mention but a few.

More so, the park’s boundaries extend from the bottom of the Mountain Rwenzori ranges, extending to the shores of Lake Edward. Generally, Queen Elizabeth National Park is covered by the African Savannah, Crater Lakes, Kazinga Channel, Lake George as well as Lake Edward. Additionally, the park is a home to over 80 mammal species and with over 600 bird species making it a best spot for bird lovers.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Kampala-Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening game drive

You will be picked from your lodge early morning and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. But before heading to the park, you will have your first stop at the Equator. While here, you will have a chance to do some equator experiments, photography and maybe also buy some souvenirs.  Lunch will be en-route in Mbarara town and then proceed to Park. Upon arrival, check in your lodge and later head for an evening game drive in search for different animals.

Day 2: Morning game drive-Afternoon boat cruise 

After an early morning cup of coffee or tea, you will be driven to kasenyi plains for your game drive. Kasenyi plains basically boosts of several wild animals whose chance of seeing them depends on your luck of the day. However, on a lucky day, you may spot big cats like lions and leopards while hunting. Other animals include; buffaloes, elephants, several antelopes, warthogs etc. Return to the lodge for lunch and then drive to Mweya peninsular for a two hour boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Here, you will spot hippos, different bird species, some crocodiles, elephants as well as buffalos.

Day 3: Morning game drive-Transfer back to Kampala

You will have your breakfast early in the morning and later check out of the lodge. Afterwards, you will head for another game drive looking out for animals that you would have missed out on the previous day. Later, embark on your journey back to Kampala which begins with lunch in Mbarara. On the way, you may decide to stopover to view some crater lakes and the rift valley floor and escarpments arriving late afternoon in Kampala or Entebbe.

Our standard mode of transport is by road and we use 4×4 Safari vehicles. Besides, each Safari vehicle comes with a professionally trained driver/guide with fuel for the whole safari. We also have very comfortable super customs which can carry up 6 people with their luggage. However, we also have small vehicles like Alphads, Harrier and much more that can carry 4-5 people.
