This 7  Days Uganda Gorilla & Chimpanzee Safari : takes you to Uganda's hidden gems with the greatest wildlife experience. Firstly, the safari will take you for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National park. Head for games drives and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Your safari will conclude with Gorilla trekking as well as Batwa culture in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Kibale Forest National Park is a home to over 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primates including the chimpanzee. On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth National Park has got the panoramic display of the Kazinga channel. In fact, this place has also got an awesome view of the hippos, buffaloes, elephants and several bird species lined up at the shores. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift valley. Note that; it  harbors half of the world’s gorilla population, including several habituated groups, that can be tracked.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park - Nature walk

After breakfast, you will be picked by one of our representatives then later start your journey to Kibale forest national park. Upon arrival, check in your lodge and later go for a nature walk at Bigodi wetland sanctuary. This basically give you an interesting experience coming across  primates such as black and white colobus, red tailed monkeys, red colobus, etc. Note that; if you are bird lover, this is one of the best spot for birding watching. This place habors different bird species like the turacos, sun birds, horn bills, herons, kingfishers, etc.

Chimpanzee Tracking

After an early morning breakfast, you be driven to the park headquarters and here you will be briefed. Here, you are basically briefed about the dos and don’ts while tracking the chimpanzees. Later, set off into the forest for Chimpanzee tracking led by your ranger of the day from Uganda wildlife Authority. Other primates that can be spotted include; red tailed monkeys, Black and white colobus, Grey checked mangabey, etc. Upon locating the chimpanzees, you will be given 1hour in their presence while watching their day-to-day activities. You are as well given an opportunity to take photos and videos for memories back home. Afterwards, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park - Evening Game drive

After enjoying your breakfast, you will start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park; another scenic on the foothills of Mountain Rwenzori. Upon arrival, check in your lodge, have lunch and later go for an evening game drive to look out for different animal species. During the drive, watch out for lions, hyenas, leopards, Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, and abundance of bird life. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Morning game drive - Boat ride

You will have breakfast early in the morning and later go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of the park. This drive will basically give you a chance to spot animals that you would have missed out during the previous game drive. Here, you will have a chance of seeing lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and abundance of different bird species. After lunch, go for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This 2hour boat ride is has great highlights where you can view hippos, crocodiles and other animals like elephants and warthogs along the shores of the channel.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Have an early breakfast and later start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. You will drive through Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park. In fact, the drive through this sector might reward you with chances of spotting the tree climbing lions.  Upon arrival, you will just check in your lodge, rest and prepare for your gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi - Batwa cultural experience

Having your early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed. Later, your ranger of the day will lead you into the forest for your gorilla trekking. Upon locating the gentle giants, you will be given 1hour in their presence as you watch them feed their young ones, etc. Afterwards, return to your lodge and in the evening go for the Batwa cultural experience. As a matter of fact, these were forest dwellers who used in live in harmony with these gorillas. Batwa community which will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, through dances, story telling, etc living you with great memories. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, you will start on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight back home. A must stop at the equator for refreshments, equator experiments and buying souvenirs to take back home for remembrance.
