This 3 Days Julius Nyerere National Park: which is the largest national park in Tanzania and also one of the world’s largest wildlife sanctuaries with a staggering size of 30,893km2 and hosts one of the world’s largest concentration of wildlife. This Park is home to several species of wildlife: such as lions, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippopotamuses, rhinos, antelopes, hyenas, African wolves, and a large number of crocodiles in the Rufiji River and over 400 bird species that can all be viewed in their natural habitats and this is the only park in Tanzania where a boat cruise activity is conducted. In this park you will be able to do different activities like game drives and boat cruise.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Julias Nyerere National park
After breakfast you will, you will be picked by your driver and later depart from Dar es Salaam to Selous Kulinda camp for a hot lunch, after lunch you will do the boat safari and here expect to see different water animals such as hippos, crocodiles and other animals like elephants, zebras, giraffe and buffalos seen at the banks of the lake as they quench water. Later you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Julias Nyerere National park
After breakfast, you will head for a full day game drive and packed lunch will be provided. Selous or Julias Nyerere national park is the Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve, A UN world Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland. It has the world’s largest number of big game. During the game drive, you will be able to spot different animals like elephants, buffalo, rhino, Hippos, leopards and lions and also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck Impala and bird species like Grey kestrel, Black chested snake eagle, African fish eagle, Addim’s stork, African Harrier Hawk, Coqui Francolin and much more.

After breakfast, you will fly from Selous to Zanzibar you will get a chance as well to do a walking safari before your time to depart for Zanzibar.
